soup with poblanos and corn

sopa de rajas poblanas or potatoes soup with poblanos and corn .
4-6 large roasted poblanos (depends on how spicy you like )
3-4 large potatoes peeled and chopped
1 large onion
4 garlic cloves
3 Tbs of butter
2 cans of drained corn
4 cups chicken broth
2 cups cream
1 cup parmesan
1tsp of cumin , thyme salt
1/2 tsp pepper ( dont add seasoning till the end)
Reserve 1 chopped poblano and 1 can of corn to add to end .
Saute onions garlic in butter until soft. Add poblanos cook for 5 minutes. Add in potatoes 1 can corn and chicken broth. Cook until potatoes are soft . Use emergen blender to blend in till smooth . ( if you dont have one of those a blender will do you will just have to scoop out some one at a time and blend pouring into another pot . once smooth Add cream ,cheese, seasoning, and reserved corn and poblano
